Brazilian Waxing in Seoul: A First-Timer's Guide to Coverage and Timing
— Magok, Gayang, Deungchon, Hwagok, Banghwa, Balsan
When people look up Brazilian waxing in Seoul for the first time, the two questions we hear most are "How much does it cover?" and "How often do I need to come back?" This guide starts with the difference between a bikini line and a full Brazilian, then walks through how a session runs, first-visit prices and multi-session passes, return timing, before-and-after tips, and how to reach us from each neighborhood in Gangseo-gu.
Bikini line vs. Brazilian: the coverage is different
Fiorael is a skin-care and beauty space. We use VIERA, a traditional handmade natural wax from Spain. Deciding the coverage before you book makes the consultation much shorter.
- Bikini line — tidies only the edges that show outside your underwear. A good fit if you just want a clean line for swimwear or leggings
- Brazilian — covers the full area from front to back. Whether you go fully bare or keep a small shape is decided with you during the consultation
- O-line — often added to a Brazilian, or booked on its own
Not sure which one suits you? Start with the bikini line and widen the area on your next visit.
How one session runs
First-visit prices and passes
First-time Brazilian guests in Magok-dong get a first-visit price, and an extra lunchtime discount applies between 11:00 and 14:00 — popular with people working in the Magok business district.
| Option | Women | Men |
|---|---|---|
| Brazilian, first visit | ₩40,000 | ₩60,000 |
| First visit, lunchtime (11:00–14:00) | ₩35,000 | ₩50,000 |
| Brazilian, single session | ₩70,000 | ₩100,000 |
| Brazilian, 3-session pass | ₩180,000 (₩60,000 each) | ₩270,000 (₩90,000 each) |
| Bikini line | ₩50,000 | ₩80,000 |
| O-line | ₩30,000 | ₩40,000 |
Every waxing service includes a soothing finish. If you plan to come regularly, the 3-session pass is the better value, and you can add other areas such as underarms or legs on the same day.
Most guests return every 3–4 weeks
Hair grows in different phases, so new hair appears a few weeks after each session. It helps to think of Brazilian waxing as a routine you keep up rather than a one-off. Most guests come back every 3–4 weeks, and keeping a steady rhythm usually makes each visit easier.
Going on a trip? Book 3–5 days before you leave so your skin has time to settle before the beach or pool.
💡 Tip. About 5 mm of hair length works best. Skip shaving for 2–3 days before your visit — if you've just shaved, wait 1–2 weeks before booking.
Before and after
Before
- Skip oils and body lotion on the day so the wax grips well
- Many people feel more sensitive during their period, so try to book around it
- Let us know about exfoliating products or ingredients your skin reacts to
- If you are pregnant, tell us how far along you are when booking. We decide together after a consultation, and any advice from your doctor comes first
After
- Avoid saunas, jjimjilbang, pools and harsh scrubs for a day or two
- Loose, breathable clothing is more comfortable on the way home
- After a few days, gentle exfoliation and moisturizing help keep your skin smooth
Men's Brazilian waxing works the same way
Male guests are seen in the same private 1:1 rooms with the same steps. Many are unsure how much to cover at first, so you can simply decide between a bikini line and full coverage during the consultation. Couples sometimes book the same time slot in separate rooms.

FAQ
Q. Does it hurt a lot?
It varies with the area, the hair and how you feel that day. We work in small sections and check in with you as we go.
Q. How long does it take?
It depends on coverage and hair volume, but allowing about an hour including consultation and prep is comfortable.
Q. I feel a bit shy about it.
That's the most common worry for first-timers. Everything outside the area being waxed stays covered with disposable underwear and towels.
