Therapy in Southwest Seoul
— Magok, Gayang, Deungchon, Hwagok, Banghwa and Balsan

Many guests looking for therapy in Seoul are simply trying to find somewhere quiet to spend an hour after work or at the weekend. Gangseo-gu is served by both Line 5 and Line 9, so how easy a place is to reach really depends on which neighbourhood you set out from. This guide walks through what to look at in each of them — Magok-dong, Gayang-dong, Deungchon-dong, Hwagok-dong, Banghwa-dong and Balsan-dong — and what we offer at Fiorael Therapy, a 2-minute walk from Magok Station Exit 5.

Choosing a Therapy Space in Seoul

Guests tend to check three things before booking: whether the room is fully private, whether appointments are spaced so you never cross paths with another guest, and how late the space is open.

That last point matters a great deal in a district like Gangseo-gu, where people live and work in the same area. On days that finish late, a late booking is often the deciding factor. Fiorael is open daily from 10:00 to 02:00, with the last appointment at 1:00 am.

It is also worth looking at the programme list in advance. An oil body therapy, a Swedish-style session and a marine mineral care session are all quite different experiences. If it is your first visit, tell us when you book what kind of hour you would like, and we will choose the programme together.

Magok-dong — Where Two Lines Meet

Guests searching for therapy in Magok-dong are usually moving within the Magok district itself, or stopping by on the way home from a nearby office. Magok-dong sits between Magok Station on Line 5 and Magongnaru Station on Line 9, so it is walkable from either direction.

Fiorael is at 11 Magokjungang-ro — 2 minutes on foot from Magok Station Exit 5, and 5 minutes from Magongnaru Station Exit 3. There is free parking in the building if you drive. Guests coming from Magok-dong often walk home afterwards, which is part of why late-evening bookings are so common here.

Gayang-dong and Deungchon-dong — Along Line 9

If you are looking for therapy in Gayang-dong, it helps to know that Gayang Station is only two stops from Magongnaru on Line 9 — no transfer, and a short walk at the other end. Some guests from Gayang-dong come by bus towards Magok Station instead.

From Deungchon-dong, Deungchon Station is three stops from Magongnaru. Deungchon-dong is largely residential, so the question we are usually asked is whether it is close enough for a relaxed evening visit. From both neighbourhoods the journey is short enough that you only really need to allow time for the appointment itself.

Hwagok-dong and Banghwa-dong — A Straight Run on Line 5

For guests searching for therapy in Hwagok-dong, Line 5 connects Hwagok Station to Magok Station directly, with no transfer. Hwagok-dong is a mixed, busy neighbourhood, and guests from there often tell us they are specifically looking for somewhere quiet and one-on-one.

Therapy in Banghwa-dong works the same way: Banghwa and Gaehwasan stations run straight through to Magok on Line 5. Gimpo Airport is close by, so we also see guests fitting an appointment around a trip. If you are booking either side of a flight, it is worth leaving a little extra time.

Balsan-dong — Right By Magok (Balsan) Station

Guests looking for therapy in Balsan-dong usually orient themselves around Balsan Station, which is one stop from Magok Station on Line 5 — close enough that some people simply walk. If you are near Magok Station (Balsan) in Gangseo-gu, getting here is barely a journey at all.

Because guests from Balsan-dong often walk back afterwards, loose and comfortable clothing is a good idea.

Our Programmes at Fiorael

Every programme takes place in a fully private one-on-one room. We group them by the kind of hour you are after:

💡 Tip. For a first visit, arriving about 10 minutes early helps. We talk through how you are feeling and what you would like to focus on before we begin, so that consultation time does not come out of your appointment.
