Thermawave in Seoul: A First-Timer's Guide to Device Care
— Magok · Gayang · Deungchon · Hwagok · Banghwa · Balsan
People searching for Thermawave in Seoul usually ask us two things: "What does device care feel like?" and "Which area should I start with?" This guide walks through how a Thermawave session unfolds from start to finish, how to choose between a single-area course and a full-body course, which area to look at first depending on your daily routine, what to know on your first visit, and how to reach us from each neighbourhood in Gangseo-gu.
Thermawave works with gentle warmth
Fiorael is a skin and body care studio. The Thermawave MED device we use applies gentle thermal waves to care for body and face lines; wherever the handpiece passes, you feel a soft, pleasant warmth. Most guests describe it as something like a warm compress, so even first-timers relax quickly.
Regardless of the wording in the device name, every programme at Fiorael is cosmetic skin and body care only. If you are comparing Thermawave options near Magok and Balsan stations, we first decide together whether to use the device on its own or combine it with marine mineral product care or hand care.
How one session unfolds
Single area or full body?
For a first Thermawave session in Seoul we suggest one of two paths. If one area clearly bothers you, Fit Lightening Care focuses the device on that area alone. If you feel heavy and stiff all over, Mineral FULL Care combines marine mineral product care with device care in one flow.
| Course | What it includes | Single |
|---|---|---|
| Fit Lightening Care | Device care on one area — face, trapezius, back, arms, abdomen, thighs or calves — plus warm balance foot care | from ₩100,000 (lower body ₩120,000) |
| Mineral Body Care Starter · 35 min | Marine mineral + Thermawave, for first-time guests | ₩100,000 |
| Mineral FULL Care · 70 min | Thalasso mineral product care → Thermawave device care | ₩230,000 |
| Signature Mineral FULL Care · 100 min | The 70-minute course plus Fiorael hand care | ₩300,000 |
Prices exclude VAT. The Fit Lightening 10-session pass (₩800,000, ₩80,000 per session) lets you switch areas every visit, and Mineral FULL Care packages of five sessions are 10% off. Times are for the care itself, so allow around 30 extra minutes for consultation and getting ready.
Which area first, by daily routine
- Sitting at a desk all day — many guests start with shoulders that look raised and the upper back (trapezius · upper back)
- Standing or walking a lot — calves and thighs that look heavy by evening
- Looking after a baby — arms, lower back and the side waist line that stiffen from carrying
- Often in photos — face care for a tidy face line and firmness
- When the season changes your outfits — lower abdomen and sides that show through clothes
Guests who continue with a 10-session pass near Magok often keep one area for the first three or four visits, then switch to whatever needs attention that week.
What to know on your first visit
- Avoid coming right after a meal — if abdomen care is included, about an hour after eating is more comfortable
- Remove metal jewellery and watches — there is a locker in the room
- Temperature is set to your word — "warm" feels different to everyone, so tell us at any point during care
- Drink plenty of water afterwards — warm tea or water is ready in the room; move slowly when you get up
- Pregnancy, wounds or skin trouble on an area — let us know when booking and we avoid that area. If you have any physical discomfort, please talk with your doctor before visiting
💡 Tip. Combined with mineral care, device care follows straight after the product is applied, so you experience the whole flow on your first day. You do not need to decide in advance — we settle it together at the consultation.

Yes. You can group two or three areas that bother you together, such as trapezius and arms, or choose Mineral FULL Care for a whole-body flow.
