Waxing in Southwest Seoul: A First-Timer's Guide

Most people booking waxing in Seoul for the first time ask about the process before they ask about the price: how to book, what happens when you arrive, and what to avoid afterwards. The Wax We Use
Fiorael uses VIERA, a traditional handmade wax from Spain, at 100% strength. We do not blend it with other waxes or switch products by area. Every treatment uses single-use tools, finishes with a soothing care step, and takes place in a private one-to-one room, so you will not run into other guests.
How Booking Works
What Happens on the Day
First-time guests often ask whether waxing starts the moment they walk in. In practice the order is as follows, with about ten minutes for the consultation and preparation.
- Consultation — we confirm how much you want removed and check your skin that day, in the room
- Preparation — you change, and the area is cleansed
- Waxing — worked in small sections; tell us any time if something feels uncomfortable
- Finish — remaining wax is removed and a soothing step closes the treatment
- Aftercare notes — what to avoid for the next two days and when to come back
Small areas such as underarms or the upper lip take about ten minutes of actual waxing, which is why many guests come on a lunch break or on the way home.

If this is your first time, we suggest starting with one small area and widening the range on your next visit. These are the areas first-timers most often choose.

How Long Between Visits
Regrowth differs from person to person, but keeping the first few intervals consistent makes it easier to plan. These are the ranges we usually suggest.

💡 Tip. Around 0.5 cm of growth works best. Shaving just before your appointment leaves the hair too short to work with. If you are unsure, ask us when you book.
The Two Days After
- Skip hot baths, saunas and jjimjilbang for about two days
- Avoid tanning, strong sun and outdoor pools for the same period
- Use a gentle moisturiser rather than a strongly fragranced body lotion
- Keep exercise light on the day itself
- If any redness remains, leave it alone rather than rubbing the area
About a week before your next visit, light exfoliation once or twice a week makes the following session smoother. Daily is not necessary.
If You Are Pregnant
We are asked about waxing during pregnancy regularly. We start by confirming how far along you are and what your doctor has told you, then decide together whether to proceed and which areas to include. Later in pregnancy we build in breaks during the session, and if you are not feeling well on the day we would rather move the appointment.
Getting Here From Around Gangseo-gu
We are at 3F, 11 Magokjungang 2-ro, Gangseo-gu. Two minutes from Line 5 Magok Station Exit 5, five minutes from Line 9 Magoknaru Station Exit 3, with free parking in the building. Open daily 10:00 to 02:00, with the last appointment at 01:00.
Magok-dong
Waxing in Magok-dong is walking distance. Guests working in the offices between Magok and Balsan often come on a lunch break for a single small area.
Balsan-dong
From Balsan-dong it is one stop on Line 5, so even treatments where you change clothes fit into a short trip.
Gayang-dong
From Gayang-dong, take Line 9 two stops and come out of Magoknaru Station Exit 3.
Deungchon-dong
Deungchon-dong is four stops on Line 9. If you have booked several areas in one visit, driving over and using the free parking is often easier.
Hwagok-dong
Hwagok-dong is three stops on Line 5. Late evening slots make it workable even after a long day.
Banghwa-dong
Banghwa-dong connects via Line 5 at Banghwa and Gaehwasan, or Line 9 at Sinbanghwa. With the airport close by, some guests stop in before a flight.

Q. How long does a first appointment take?
Small areas fit inside 30 minutes including the consultation; wider areas such as a Brazilian or full legs take around an hour. Tell us the areas when you book and we will give you an exact time.
Q. Can I come during my period?
For Brazilian and bikini line we suggest booking outside those days. Other areas are fine as planned.
Q. Do you wax men?
Yes. Men's prices are listed separately and every treatment is in a private room.
Q. Do you take same-day bookings?
If a slot is free, yes. For a specific time, booking a day or two ahead is safer.
