Esthetic Salon in Southwest Seoul: How to Read the Menu
— Magok · Gayang · Deungchon · Hwagok · Banghwa · Balsan
In Korea, "esthetic" (에스테틱) is a broad word. It covers face care, body care, device care and waxing, so a menu can look long at first glance. This guide shows how to read an esthetic menu in Seoul with just three things in mind — the area you care about, the time you have, and the style of care you prefer — without memorising programme names.
Narrow Down a Seoul Esthetic Menu with Three Questions
At Fiorael we ask these three questions, in this order, at your first consultation. Thinking them through in advance usually leaves two or three options.
Programmes by Concern
Once you have your three answers, find the closest row below. The left column is how guests usually describe it; the middle column is the name on the menu.
| When you want… | Programme to look at | Style |
|---|---|---|
| A tidier jawline and face line | Fit Lightening Face Care | Device care |
| Care for just one area — arms, back, abdomen or legs | Fit Lightening Care by area | Device care |
| Care for dry-looking skin texture and the whole body together | Mineral FULL Care Basic, 70 min | Marine minerals + Thermawave |
| The same, with generous hands-on care added | Mineral FULL Care Signature, 100 min | Marine minerals + Thermawave + hands-on care |
| A quiet rest with oil and no devices | Fiore Relax Body Therapy, 70 or 100 min | Oil body therapy |
| Neat hair removal for face or body | Spanish natural Viera waxing | Natural wax |
Fit Lightening Care offers eight areas — face, arms, shoulders and upper back, full back, abdomen, lower body, thighs and calves — and a 10-session pass that lets you pick a different area each visit. Prices are shared when you book.
Hands-on Care and Device Care: The Difference
Hands-on care
Your therapist works across the whole body by hand with oil or mineral products. Pressure and pace can be adjusted on the spot, so it suits guests who also want quiet time to rest.
Device care
A warming wave device is used on the area you choose. It suits guests who want face-line care, or care for one area only.
Both together
Mineral FULL Care combines the two in one course — a common choice for guests looking for skin care in Magok who would like body care at the same visit.
Helpful Things to Tell Us at the First Consultation
- Your usual skincare products — and any ingredients your skin is sensitive to
- The finish you like — light and fresh, or soft and moisturised
- Dates that are fixed — for a wedding, a shoot or an event, we plan visits around the date
- Recent care — the dates of any care or waxing you have had elsewhere
- Things to be careful about — if you are pregnant or have any concerns, please share what your doctor has told you
💡 Tip. Light make-up is more comfortable than a full face on the day. The powder room is stocked for freshening up, so you can come straight from work.
