Mineral Therapy in Southwest Seoul
— Magok, Gayang, Deungchon, Hwagok, Banghwa and Balsan
The question we hear most from guests looking into mineral therapy in Seoul is simple: "What does mineral therapy actually involve?" From the name alone it is hard to tell whether it means a product applied to the skin or a device-based session. This guide explains what our mineral therapy is made of, the order a single session follows, how to choose between Starter, Basic and Signature, and how to reach us from each neighbourhood in Gangseo-gu.
The Two Elements of Mineral Therapy
What Fiorael calls mineral therapy is a programme that combines marine mineral ingredients with Thermawave device care. In our menu it appears as "Mineral Body Care", and many guests simply call it mineral care.
Marine mineral ingredients
We use dedicated products containing French marine mineral ingredients. Their moist, silky feel lets you look after skin that seems dry while you lie back and rest.
Thermawave device care
Thermawave is body care equipment that uses warm waves to refine the body line. You will feel a pleasant warmth, and the temperature and feel can be adjusted at any point during the session — just tell us.
Add hands-on work to these two and you have the Signature option. Whichever you choose, every session takes place in a fully private one-on-one room.
How a Mineral Therapy Session Unfolds
Starter, Basic or Signature — What Is the Difference?
| Option | Time | Includes | Suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mineral Body Care Starter | 35 min | Marine minerals + Thermawave | Trying device care for the first time, or a short lunch break |
| Mineral Body Care Basic | 70 min | Marine minerals + Thermawave | A day to look after skin texture and body line without rushing |
| Mineral Body Care Signature | 100 min | Marine minerals + Thermawave + hands-on work | When you want hands-on care and device care in one visit |
Many first-time guests start with Starter to get a feel for the warmth, then move on to Basic or Signature next time. Current details are on our Daily Life Care page.
💡 Tip. If device care is new to you, just say "gentle warmth, please" during the chat. We start softly and adjust as we check what feels comfortable.
Prefer to Focus on One Area?
If you would rather choose a single area of concern and focus device care there, we also offer Balance Energy Therapy. Every session includes a warm balance foot care. See the Balance Energy Therapy page for details.
If you prefer hands-on care, our oil therapy guide for southwest Seoul may help, and our body therapy guide compares both directions side by side.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Are mineral therapy and mineral care different sessions?
They refer to the same programme. On our menu it is called Mineral Body Care and runs in three options: Starter, Basic and Signature.
Q. I have never had device care. Is that all right?
We suggest starting with the 35-minute Starter. If the temperature or feel is uncomfortable at any point, tell us and we will adjust it right away.
Q. How is it different from oil therapy?
Oil therapy (the Fiore Relax Body Therapy) is hands-on care using warm oil and the flow of the hands, while mineral therapy combines marine mineral ingredients with the Thermawave device. If you would like both at once, the 100-minute Signature is the right fit.
Q. Can I book it as a gift for my parents?
Yes. Care for Parents is built around the 100-minute Mineral Body Care Signature. Just give us your parents' names and preferred time when booking.
