Skin Care in Southwest Seoul: Planning by Season and Schedule
— Magok · Gayang · Deungchon · Hwagok · Banghwa · Balsan
Guests looking for skin care in Seoul ask about timing almost as often as they ask about programmes: when is a good time to come, and how far apart should visits be? How your skin feels changes with the season, indoor air and the week you are having, so the same session can feel different depending on when you book it. This guide covers three things in order — seasonal concerns, the flow of a visit, and planning around fixed dates.
Skin Care in Seoul: What Guests Mention Each Season
Here is what we hear most often at consultations at Fiorael, grouped by time of year. Start with the row for the current season.
| Time of year | What guests tell us | What to look at |
|---|---|---|
| Spring and autumn | Skin texture feels rough and make-up does not sit well | Facial skin-condition care: cleansing, texture care and moisturising |
| Summer | Shiny on the surface, yet dry-feeling from air conditioning | Facial skin-condition care with a light, fresh finish |
| Winter | The face feels tight in heated rooms | A soft, moisturised finish · mineral care using marine mineral ingredients |
| Before an event | Would like skin texture and the face line cared for together | Face-line care · Fit Lightening Face Care (device care) |
| Any season | Fine facial hair keeps make-up from going on evenly | Spanish natural Viera waxing for the face |
The table is only a starting point. Work environment, sleep and the products you use all make a difference within the same season, so the actual session is decided together at the consultation.
What Happens on the Day
First-time guests often ask what the visit looks like. Details vary by programme, but the overall flow is as follows.
Planning Visits Around Your Dates
Weddings, shoots and important gatherings
If a programme is new to you, we suggest trying it well ahead rather than the day before an important date. Once you know how your skin responds, you can book a familiar session closer to the day. Tell us the date and we will plan the visits with you.
Regular care
With no fixed date in mind, many guests come every three to four weeks. When the season changes, you can keep the same session and simply change the finish.
Face and body together
If you would like body care on the same day, face care can be booked back to back with a 70- or 100-minute Mineral FULL Care course. Some guests start with skin care in Magok and later move to a full-body session.
Between Visits: Simple Habits at Home
- Washing — lukewarm rather than hot water, rinsing lightly instead of rubbing
- Moisturising — apply your usual product before the skin dries after washing
- Sun protection — worth keeping up on cloudy days and by windows indoors
- Indoor humidity — in offices with long hours of heating or cooling, many guests keep a small humidifier at the desk
- New products — try one at a time rather than changing several at once, so it is easier to tell what suits you
💡 Tip. For about a day after your visit, it is more comfortable to avoid strong sun and hot saunas. If you have evening plans, let us know when you book and we will prepare a finish to match.
