Healing Therapy in Southwest Seoul: Time to Truly Rest
— Magok, Gayang, Deungchon, Hwagok, Banghwa and Balsan

When people look for healing therapy in southwest Seoul, what they usually want is not a particular technique but an hour or two of rest without having to think about anything. So this guide focuses less on the programmes and more on shaping that rest time around you: whether to talk or not, how dim the room should be, which course suits the day, and how to spend the 30 minutes afterwards. Choosing a scent is covered in our aromatherapy guide, and course structure in the oil therapy guide.

How Fiorael prepares a healing session

The programme most guests choose for this is Fiore Relax Body Therapy: a relaxing full-body care with warmed oil and smooth, pressure-free strokes, so there is very little you need to do or pay attention to. Every session takes place in a private one-to-one room, and we space out bookings so you rarely cross paths with other guests.

The same programme can feel very different depending on the room. That is why we ask about conversation, lighting, temperature and music as carefully as about the care itself. First-time guests often do not know what they are allowed to ask for, so we have listed it below.

Four ways to set up your rest

A single line when booking is enough, or you can tell us once you are in the room. There is no extra charge.

SettingWhat you can askHow we adjust
Conversation"I'd like to rest without talking"We check only what we need at the start, then continue in quiet
Lighting"A little darker, please"We lower the indirect lighting to a level that is easy on the eyes
Temperature"I get cold easily"We warm the room and the heated bed in advance and add an extra blanket
Music"Almost no sound"We turn the soft instrumental music down or off

You can change any of these during the session. We note your preferences and have the room ready the same way on your next visit.

Choosing a course for the day

If today is…Guests often choose
A weekday evening after workFiore Relax Body Therapy, 70 minutes
A weekend with time to spareFiore Relax Body Therapy, 100 minutes
A day of long hours at a deskMineral Body Care — a 70-minute programme combining marine mineral ingredients with warm-wave device care
A day to rest properly, all at onceSignature Mineral Body Care — Mineral Body Care plus hands-on care, 100 minutes

Many first-time guests start with 70 minutes and extend on their next visit. Current prices are shared when you book.

When to come

Fiorael is open every day from 10:00 to 02:00. Each part of the day has a slightly different feel.

💡 Tip. Lying face down is more comfortable about an hour after a meal rather than straight after. If you are pregnant or have been given any precautions by your doctor, please let us know when booking.

The 30 minutes afterwards

It helps to plan so the rest does not end the moment the session does. Rushing to get dressed and leave tends to scatter that calm feeling quickly.

If you have plans afterwards, add 20 to 30 minutes to your booking for showering and getting ready.

Frequently asked questions

Q. Is healing therapy a separate programme?

Not as a named programme. When we recommend Fiore Relax Body Therapy or Mineral Body Care with the focus on rest, we call it healing therapy.

Q. Can I really stay silent the whole time?

Yes. We check only what is necessary at the start, such as areas to avoid and pressure preference, and then continue in quiet.

Q. Is it all right to fall asleep?

Of course. Many guests do. We will wake you gently near the end.

Q. Will it feel awkward coming alone?

Most guests come alone. The rooms are private and we arrange bookings so paths rarely cross.

Q. Do you take male guests?

It depends on the programme, so please ask when booking and we will let you know the available times.
